Theresa Breuer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Some wineries are inherited; others must be earned. Theresa Breuer has done both. In 2004, following the untimely death of her father Bernhard\u2014one of the pioneers of dry German Riesling\u2014she took over the Georg Breuer winery in R\u00fcdesheim.  <\/p>\n<p>Today, she has long since put her own stamp on it: Riesling from the steep slopes of the R\u00fcdesheim Mountains, with slate and quartzite soils, spontaneously fermented and aged without haste. These are wines that start out cool and reserved, unfolding their greatness over the years.
